Incorporation of the aerie

Our current by-laws state that the Aerie is incorporated and was done so on July 11, 1949. After doing some research and talking to the Ohio Secretary of State's office there does not appear to be any record of us being incorporated. Is that a big deal, well I am no lawyer but it is my understanding that if someone decided to sue the Aerie for who knows what, the officers and Trustees of the Aerie could be held liable and put their personal finances in jepordy. The process to incorporate does not seem that involved and we are working on doing that right now. Will update you as we progress.
